適用するテンプレートや、運用ポリシーみたいな物で「年月日や曜日は英表記!!」って
そう言う人は少なからず居るかも知れない。自分はそんな感じ。
折角日本語にローカライズしてくれた言語ファイルを提供して貰ってはいるが、
見た目がちとしっくりこないしなんだかな～という状態だったので、また作って見ました。
配布もしてみる。
自分が以前やった方法を参照しながら作業をして見た訳なのだが!!
うちの Linux に入っている msgfmt コマンドのバージョンが古い為に WP 2.9 付属の
ja.mo をビルド出来ない…ってなっちゃいました。
# ちなみに言語ファイルは「/wp-content/languages/ja.{mo,po}」の 2 つです。
# po ファイルが定義みたいな。mo ファイルがビルドしたバイナリで実際に使う奴。
Win 用にある Poedit っておいうソフトも使ってみたけど、エラーが出る。
しかたないなーとなったので、msgfmt が入っている gettext というパッケージのソースを
ダウンロードしてきた。
デフォのまま configure, make, make install してみた感じ。
WP 2.9 の ja.mo ビルド時にエラー吐いたうちの msgfmt はバージョン 0.14 でした。
最新版を落としてきてビルドしたやつは 0.17 と。
これなら
$ msgfmt -o ./ja.mo ja.po
ってやるだけで No Error!!!
操作はやっぱ GUI が楽だったんで、po ファイルは Win で Poedit。ビルドは Linux で msgfmt 0.17。
ぶっち作成 ja.mo ファイル。ja.po 込み。 (tar.gz 形式 353KB)
